CHARACTER BIBLE
This was an assignment I did during my Character Design module at NID where we had to choose a profession and then interview the professional. Based on the interview and observations, we had to design a character.

DP 4 ( SHORT FILM )
These are the character designs of my Design Project 4 ( short film ) which I made during the Pre-production phase of my film.
All the character design references were drawn from my childhood photo album, which served as the primary source of inspiration. I carefully studied the photos, paying attention to details like expressions, clothing, and body language, using them as a foundation for developing unique characters. This personal connection helped infuse the designs with a sense of nostalgia, making each character feel both familiar and fun.
The initial character explorations began as random sketches in my sketchbook. I tried not to limit myself to a specific style, with the only constraint being to keep in mind references from my old childhood images, exploring the characters based on those photos

THE FINAL CHARACTER DESIGNS
PUNAH ( DP - 2 ) SHORT FILM
Below are few of the character design work that Me, Shubham, Vaishnavi, Tanvi worked on for our Design Project 2 film, PUNAH. We divided the work equally, assigning each of us specific characters from the film to focus on. This allowed everyone to work on different characters of the film ensuring a balanced workload while contributing to the overall development of the project.
CHARACTER BIBLE PLANS for the Film
I took charge of planning the character bibles for each character in the film. I created detailed character bible plans, tailored specifically to each character, to ensure we had a clear guide to follow during the development of the bibles.
