Movie Poster Design - A CHAIRY TALE
The movie is about a man and a chair, that refuses to be sat upon, forcing the young man to perform a sort of a dance with the chair.
SPREAD DESIGN for a FILM REVIEW
We had to design a spread based on a movie review on the short film, THE STREET by Caroline Leaf. The pictures chosen for the spread have some kind of significance in the movie. My main objective was to showcase the mood and the reader to get to get an idea of how the film is like.
SPREAD DESIGN for a PHOTO ESSAY
For this spread I wanted to showcase only one scene that I feel gives the gist of the whole film and gives the reader an idea on what the film is all about.
MAGAZINE COVER and SPINE DESIGN
My main objective was to showcase the theme of the magazine and give a hint of what would be the contents of the magazine. The photo used in the cover is known other than Caroline Leaf, director of the movie, THE STREET, one of the featured articles in the magazine.
INFORMATIVE POSTER
Our final assignment was to design an informative poster on one of the typefaces and their creators given to us. I chose Bodoni.
